ELF mineral lipstick in natural nymph

ELF mineral lipstick in natural nymph

Natural nymph It is not that creamy to me. My natural nymph packaging is sort of messed up. When I first got it it was just fine but after a while it locked at a certain point so the tip of my lipstick got crushed. Colourwise, pale pale colour. Very nude lip colour with pink undertones. I find it looking drying on lips without any lipgloss on. I would not wear it on its own but conceals pigmented lips very well and looks gorgeous when paired with an appropriate lipgloss.

Runway pink is pretty gorgeous colour and is not bright. I find this more wearable than elf natural nymph and is not bright, it is more of a pink nude lip colour. Very pigmented.

Cheerful Cherry is a dark red but still wearable for fairer skintones. It has a very retro feel to it. It is not a bright red, it is more classy looking. It's on the darker side of reds. But really gorgeous.

Are they worth the try? Yes, they are, and I would love to try different shades in the future too :)

Thank you for reading guys. And if you're from Europe [excluding Italy, Spain and Germany- because they have their own website] and would like to try ELF products, I suggest you “like” ELF's facebook fan page to be informed about elf's promotional codes. Plus the more people join their fan page, the quicker the codes come out :)

Duo Eyelash Adhesive Glue Review

[[Fill the poll on your right for me guys, that shall guide me onto what you would like to see in my blog. It only takes a second guys x ]]

Inspired by the amazing youtube guru Rosebud143 [CHANNEL HERE], I decided to give false lashes a go about 2 years ago and I just wanted to share with you this bad experience of mine. So I went to the phramacists/ drugstore and asked her for a pair of falsies. She showed me some pairs from ArtDeco, which, were nothing special to be honest. I asked her for some glue to actually glue them to my eye. This is the funny part, which was not so funny at the time A. She did not tell me they actually come with a glue. B. She gave me a PERMANENT glue. AND it took me a while to realise it was permanent. Fail Result: several eye watering experiences messing up my whole make up just to glue them against my eye, painful methods to take them off and having a 2 cm piece of fake lashes stuck to my eye for 3 weeks. Yup. I've been there. PS. If that ever happens to you with a permanent lash glue, Olive Oil breaks the permanent lash glue.

Ok, so I had not given up on false lashes. So I kept researching and researching for the best lash glue out there. And I found DUO EYELASH glue. I believe there is a surgical and non surgical version of the product which dry clear. There also is another one which dries black, which I've never tried, and I may try it one day.
This review is about the surgical clear version of the product.

You get a ton of product, ½ oz to be exact, and considering you only use a couple of drops every time you use it, this will last you a long time. Some people say that this thing is pricey, but I honestly don't think so because it will last for a long time, plus- it works brilliantly.

Make sure that you allow 30 seconds for the glue to get tacky, because otherwise it will be harder to put on. It dries to a rubbery texture and lasts a long time.

To remove it. I simply soak a cotton pad with my make up remover and place it against my eye, and after a couple of seconds if I gently slide the cotton pad down a few times, the eyelash immediately looses the grip from your eye. The eyelash stays in perfect shape, even if you use cheap lashes, you can reuse them because they remain in perfect shape. Of course, if you want to reuse them, make sure you take off the excess glue off and mascara if you applied mascara over them.

I suggest you buy the surgical one so that if accidentally you get the glue in your eyes, it will immediately clump up and make sure it won't damage you eye. I never got it in my eye because the texture is not runny. P.S. The new packaging does not say that it is surgical on the packaging.

The non surgical and the black one, I believe have a stronger hold but I suggest the duo surgical one since I have not tried the other two. And I NEVER had any problem with my lashes falling out if I glued them right in the first place.

You can buy this from ebay, MAC stores, and online sites.

This is my fav nude lip ever. I mean I wouldn't wear something like nyx orange soda on its own. Or ELF natural nymph on its own. But this lip combo is so wearable, I even wear it during the day. It's like a peachy pink perfect not dead looking nude lip.

ELF REVIEW: studio cream liner in black

this thing is so fun to use :) you can easily use different eyelining techniques :)

I tried to scrub the swatches off my hand with a tissue. It was starting to tear, and that's all the product that got on the tissue.

These are the swatches after trying to scrub them off with the tissue.
I'm wearing the product here.

this is the actual product with the brush it comes with.

I have been using this one for a while, it's so amazingly easy to work with and it's really black. It takes a while to set, so avoid curling your lashes just after application, because it will transfer. What I do, is wait for it to set by putting on my blush, bronzer and contour. By the time I finish them, it's all set and done. Once it sets, it becomes transfer proof and water resistant too. It lasts all day. If you want to speed up the setting of this cream liner, dab some black powder eyeshadow with the angled brush it comes with. At first, I applied this with the brush it comes with. Now I use a thin art brush to apply it, makes it much much easier. I don't think I'll ever go back to my liquid liner ever since I got this.

P.S. The product may seem a litle dry at first but with the brush it loosens.

Do I recommend?: YES!!

Will I repurchase? Most definitely – but the product lasts for a very very long time.

ELF REVIEW: Eye Primer and Liner Sealer

ELF  Eye Primer and Liner Sealer €4.00 / £3.50

Primer: Does not smell nice – does not smell bad – cosmetic smell. I used to use a creamy textured concealer as a base for my eyeshadow. I also used to use a shimmer stick. But this, I find it works best because of its sticky texture making it easy for your eyeshadows to stick on your eyelids. It makes it easy to blend eyeshadows together. It is yellowish in colour and tends to brighten up your eyeshadows more than if shadow is applied on its own. It lasts a long time too. It is very easy to apply but I prefer the ELF mineral eyeshadow primer though.

Liner Sealer: The liner is amazing. I read online that you can turn your eyeshadows into liner by just wetting an angled brush and dipping it into the liner. Does not work. This baby is amazing though. I used a cheap eyeshadow, and it turned it into a bright liquidy eyeliner. Amazing. The brush is a bit weird to me, it's stiff as a rock, I tried loosening it with the make up remover but I ended up fluffying the brush. It still works just fine though, and if I find the brush annoying, I'll just dip a small tip lip brush in. The actual formula is amazing though. The smell is not that nice, it smells just like surgical spirit to me. I'm not that bothered though because most of the liners I have owned smell pretty bad too. I find that this works best with very metallic or shimmery eyeshadows, matte eyeshadows don't look as bright and vibrant as the shimmery ones do. I also find that the liner sealer is great to set your cream liner.

Would I repurchase?
Probably not, the primer does crease a tad bit [over long hours], and I don't reach for the liner sealer a lot, but it's worth the try, you might actually love it.

UPDATE: I hate this product, creases like hell and the liner sealer is no good. I never reach for it :( Sorry ELF, this is a big NO NO

NYX REVIEW: single eyeshadows [with swatches]

Nyx pressed single eyeshadow

The cryptonite shade came broken packaging wise, but I glued it back and the actual product was not damaged. These are smaller than the nyx blushes if you happen to have them.

Cryptonite: a charcoal coloured eyeshadow with lots of silver glitter. It looks gorgeous with smokey eyes. The colour payoff is really great and I love the silky consistency of this eyeshadow. If you happen to own a nyx blush, I find that the texture is very similar, however, much more pigmented. I wouldn't recommend this colour for everyday wear, it is more of a much more glamorous colour.

Dark brown: A perfect crease colour. I wouldn't call it a dark brown, it is more of a medium brown more than anything. Good for everyday wear. Great texture. Easy to blend. You can definitely use this colour to fill in your brows because it is matte and I have used this to contour too, but you have to use a light hand because of its pigmentation

Side Note: all swatches were not paired with any other product.

You can buy nyx products from nyxcosmetics.com , cherryculture.com, makeupgeek.com, ULTA[US] or ebay sellers.

And because many of you ask, I always bought my nyx products from this EBAY SELLER. And yes, the seller's customer service is really really good :)
Have you heard about nyx? Have you tried any of their products? Any favourite products you'd recommend to this make up junkie? :):) Comment Below :)

HAUL: cheap camouflage concealer palette

Hello guys, I have another haul for you today.

So I was always interested in buying several concealers, and its super awesome to have them all in one palette. Plus. It's super cheap. I am basically convinced that this is identical to that of coastal scents without a logo. Because coastal scents get their products from Hong Kong, they just basically enhance the packaging of the original version, either by just putting logos or whatever and advertise the products as their own. They sell their products for much more than the hong kong sellers on ebay. At least that is what I believe.

the very first shade is a shimmering white cream, which you can use as a base for your inner corner or brow bone. Also, you can use this as a highlight.

There is a green shade, a lavender shade, a yellow shade. Concealers for fair, medium and dark complexions and also for different undertones. How great is that??

this is what it looks like closed

Why would you need GREEN concealer?
to conceal redness including acne, blemishes, zits or red patches on your skin.

What about YELLOW concealer ?
to conceal blueish areas on your skin including dark under eye circles or bruises.

And LAVENDER concealer?
to conceal yellow tones on your face including yellow bruises or skin imperfections

When you camouflage your skin with green, yellow or lavender concealer make sure you use the right concealer that matches your skin tone to hide the coloured concealer.

Texture wise, I have not used it yet but will keep you updated after a while guys.

You can buy this camouflage concealer palette HERE

HAUL: kabuki brush with pouch

COMPARING IT TO ELF FACE KABUKI

This is my ebay haul for today. I wanted a cheap buffer brush to blend my blush, bronzer and highlighter together. I already had the elf kabuki, but that I find, is best to be used with face powders etc because of its density.

Now this one is slightly smaller in size and even the actual diameter of the brush, is definitely smaller. It comes with a faux leather pouch and the both the kabuki that comes with it, and also the elf face kabuki fits perfectly and does not damage the brush. I love the plastic packaging it comes with, it retain the original size of the brush and you can also use it when travelling. The actual brush is super soft, but not as soft as elf kabuki face brush.

I honestly was very much surprised with how fast the item came to me, within 6 days of payment, I got the item from Hong Kong all the way to Malta. I usually have to wait for like 2 months to get my item from Hong Kong. Pretty impressive right?

As soon as I got it, it started shedding a bit, but when I used it on my face, no shedding at all. I used it to blend my blush, bronzer and highlight and it works brilliantly. I'm definitely recommending this one to you guys. Plus- it's super cheap.

I don't own anything from MAC, so there is no actual brush I can compare this to. But I'm a bargain shopper, so for what it costs, it's definitely worth the try. And if you don't like the brush [which I doubt will happen] the pouch may come super handy for other applicators.

You can buy the same item from HERE

Pink Gel nails feat. ELF nail polish & ebay nail stickers

I done my nails yesterday. These are gel nails with nail art that you too can easily pull off. Keep reading to find out how.

I applied two coats of ELF nail polish in Gum Pink.
I used ELF nail polish in gum pink. The nails already look gorgeous. I was very much surprised at how the colour turned out.
I chose these nail art stickers to place on my nails.

They are a little hard to work with to be honest. What I did was cut them individually, check whether they fit on my nails, cut them to suit the length of my nails and press the sticker against my nail. The rhinestones remain stuck to the plastic packaging so what I did was scoop them off with a toothpick and press in against my nail on the area I wanted.

Then, I applied a thin layer of top coat and stippled on the area with the top coat brush to remove any area that got stuck in it.

So Here's the result guys :)

Hope you liked them  :)
I bought the nail art stickers from  HERE.
