ELF regular line tinted moisturizer [review w/ swatches!!]

Hello guys,
I have been repurchasing this product on and on...
so clearly I adore it.
I have noticed that ELF changed the cardboard packaging and formula too :)
The new formula is sheerer, more forgiving when it comes to shade, and has a different shade than the older version.

PACKAGING
This comes in a small squeezy tube,
I have never had an issue with the packaging.

TEXTURE
Very smooth water based formula
Lightweight and non sticky

COVERAGE
From a 1-10 .. I would give this a 3 in terms of coverage,
rather than coverage, it kind of boosts your complexion a bit.

SHADES
I have this in HONEY and SPICE.
The one I constantly repurchase is honey, and I have noted that there is a difference between the old formula and new formula.
Old Honey shade: a light to medium warm shade with some orange undertone to it
New Honey shade: a light beige shade with yellow undertones
New Spice shade [which I bought for summer]: a medium beige with neutral undertones.

ELF tinted moisturizer in honey
ELF tinted moisturizer in honey
ELF tinted moisturiser in honey (new formula), honey (old formula), and spice (new formula)
PRICE
For $1 or £1.50 you get a sample size tinted moisturiser, which for me lasts a month or maximum 6 weeks.

BLENDABILITY
This is quite easy to blend and apply with the ELF studio powder brush

FINISH
This feels so soothing and fresh on the face which makes it perfect for summer.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I don't recommend using this with flash photography due to SPF15 in the formula. I have used it, it makes me look like a ghost.

BOTTOM LINE
This is an awesome product for this summer. I repurchased multiple times, and I will continue to repurchase. I definitely recommend. On a side note – I know 2 people who got a bad reaction to this so make sure to test it out behind your ear first :)

NYX powder blush in dusty rose [review with swatches!!!]

HELLO GUYS!!!

So today I have a review on a product I'm really loving!!
NYX powder blush in desert rose

NYX powder blush in desert rose

Overall NYX blushes:

Pros:

x silky in texture

x pigmented

x buildable

x not cakey

x easy to blend

x Cute packaging

Cons:

x not long lasting [up to 4 hrs]

ABOUT THE SHADE. PB02 DUSTY ROSE

PIGMENTATION
As with all NYX powder blushes,
the pigmentation of this blush is brilliant,
it might be a little too much for fair skinned ladies,
but trust me, with a light hand,
you won't look like a clown = ]

BLENDABILITY
This is a phenomenal blush at blending in your skin,
No more clown-me-blush.

NYX powder blush in desert rose and angel

NYX powder blush in desert rose and angel
NYX powder blush in desert rose and angel

NYX powder blush in desert rose and angel

SHADE
This is what I wanted NYX's blush in angel to look like,
and the name really puts me off name-wise.
But there's nothing dusty about it,
This turns out to be a gorgeous natural rosy pink blush
and it gives me the most gorgeous natural flush

PACKAGING
I have an issue with the packaging.
I think this one's defective
because it won't open unless I pop it open with a bobby pin,
I have 5 other powder blushes from nyx,
and none of them have this issue,
so I think this is an exception.
But I thought it was worth mentioning.
Other than that, I love packaging :D

BOTTOM LINE
My favourite all time blushes texture-wise are definitely by NYX,
I think their variety of shades is amazing,
and this one shades definitely fits my liking.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color [review with hand and lip swatches!!] #2

 HELLO GUYS (AGAIN!!)

I just finished my exams today after 21 days of pure exam and assignment torture.
I had 8 exams and 6 assignments and I couldn't be any happier that I've finished once and for all.

Wet n Wild Pink Suga and Just Peachy

Ok sooo..
this post is all about the
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color [review with hand and lip swatches!!] in shades:
900B Pink Suga'
903B Just Peachy
I already have another post on two
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in shades :
Mauve Outta Here 907C
Bare it All 902C
and you can check that post HERE
I'm actually going to have another post and merge the four lipsticks together so that you can see them and compare them.
But I'm thinking about getting 2 more shades because I'm loving the look of
Coral-ine and Rosebud,
so I think I'll order them off ebay =D

ever since Ariana of She Walks in Beauty raved about the Wet n Wild lipstick HERE
I just HAD to get my hands on these lippies.
And knowing the determined little lippie-craving freak,
I actually did.
Wet n Wild Just Peachy and  Pink Suga
Wet n Wild Just Peachy and  Pink Suga

PACKAGING
I don't like the cap of the product - it makes it cheap looking.
If the cap were black it would give it a sleek look.
Also, the names of these products are only written on the plastic thing it comes with them.
Then there's just a code.
Also, it is quite easy to catch the product against the cap since there is a part which doesn't scroll down.
Given that the cap is transparent it makes it a little yucky everytime you catch product against the cap.
Also, I had a problem with the Just Peachy one [and even with the Mauve it Over one], it just got loosened from the rest and the lipstick went literally against the cap.

Wet n Wild Just Peachy and  Pink Suga
Wet n Wild Just Peachy and  Pink Suga

TEXTURE
Semi- matte finish
No shimmer
No frost
A little drying because it's matte
Very pigmented
One swipe of product and you get the desirable shade.
Not hard to transfer on your lips
You get quite a lot of product :)

STAYING POWER
A little more than your average concealer lipstick
-[ I don't get why I wrote concealer the first time around lol]
I would say 3-4 hours.
These actually last longer than that on me.
These last like 4-6 hours depending whether I ate, drank, bit my lip and whatever.
Wet n Wild  Pink Suga - the lip swatch doesn't do this product justice.

Wet n Wild  Just Peachy - the lip swatch doesn't do this product justice.

SHADES
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color 900B Pink Suga':
A super nude shade, almost concealer-like, with a peachy gorgeous tint to it. This would be suitable for warm skintones. It has some orange undertones to it. LOVE THIS. I wear this on its own, with glosses on top, with other lipsticks. It's GORGEOUS. P.S there is nothing pink about it. And sugar reminds me of frost. But this is shimmerless and frostless.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color 903B Just Peachy:
A nudish, almost neon, corally pinky peach which would look gorgeous on warm skintones :))
I wear this on its own most of the time, but I also like to pair this with Sleek's Pout Polish limited shade in Sugar May for a super gorgeous peachy lip. This is my favourite out of the 4 I have. Again, no shimmer, no frost.

ADDITIONAL  INFO
I hate that these only get the names on the plastic seal,
and only numbers on the bottom.
I like names not numbers,
I can't even remember them.
I can barely remember my mum's phone number. haha.

BOTTOM LINE
Definitely worth the try,
They can easily be dupes of higher end products :)
The packaging can be better, but the product itself is amazing if you like matte lipsticks!
4.5/5

ELF nail polish in smoky brown [review with swatches!!]

and I really would like to amp up the chances for my truly loyal readers :)))

This post is all about:
ELF regular line / essentials nail polish in smokey brown!!

ELF nail polish in smoky brown

TEXTURE
you know how ELF has the "good-textured" nail polishes
and the "I need at least three coats to get this showing up nail polishes"
This is one of the "good-textured" ones!!
YAY.
2 coats is good enough with this one,
and it doesn't apply streaky at all

ELF nail polish in smoky brown

SHADE
I know a lot of people really really like this shade,
but I was expecting a nude mushroom shade.
I was wrong.
The swatch on the site pretty much showed it.
This is on the darker side.
To be honest,
I didn't really like it on its own.
But.
I then used my ELF matte finisher nail polish
[review coming soon!]
and it looked awesome!!!!!!!
I loved the combo,
it's so cute :]

PACKAGING
Standard cute ELF packaging,
which I love :)

LASTING POWER
I have always had issue with nail polish.
I bite it off,
it chips off.
and it bugs me.
Yes, this chips in like 1-3 days.
But that's pretty standard with me.
I never really had a nail polish which lasted more than 3 days without chipping.
Even with a top coat :)
So this is a pretty good standard.

DRYING TIME
I don't see a lot of bloggers talk about the drying time of a nail polish
But to me,
this is an issue.
I can't wait 15 minutes for one coat to dry.
Because I get nervous.
These nail polishes don't dry in like 60 seconds.
But my nails dry pretty fast.
I don't know the exact time.
But by the time I finish both hands with my first coat,
I'm ready to coat the first hand again.
So drying time is pretty good too.

BOTTOM LINE.
I can't explain how much I love ELF nail polishes.
I was never really a massive fan of nail polishes,
I used to gel my nails for like 2 years
[I used to do them, and I have been planning a whole post about that.]
But these ELF nail polishes look great on my all bitten exam nails.
Yup right now they don't exactly look like those in the photos -
they are quite rugged haha.
I don't think I'll repurchase this shade,
because I'm more of a bright nail kind of girl.
But if you're looking for a cheap, chocolate mushroom nail polish,
this is a great option!!

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May

Today I'm reviewing the
Limited Edition Shade from the Sleek Avoir La Peche Collection:
leek Pout Polish Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF15
So here's the review!!

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May

PROS:
Great texture
Like a lip balm
quite pigmented applies evenly
buildable
10g of product – twice the normal amount of the average lipstick
smells nice
no funny taste
fades naturally

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May

CONS:
you have to apply this with fingers / lip brush

Comparing this to the other SLEEK pout polishes [REVIEW HERE]
It is not as pigmented as the other sleek pout polishes, it does not act as a stain,
It's more of a gloss.
and this is more moisturising than the other ones that I have - which is brilliant!

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May and Sleek Pout Polish in Powder Pink

SHADE
This is seriously  a gorgeous gorgeous shade,
On the lips this has the slightest faintest orange tint.
So don't be scared of the orange, it's really subtle.
In fact, this looks really natural on my lips :)
It's slightly lighter than my natural lip shade.
and gives my lips the most gorgeous amazing peachy lip tint.

When you swatch this it looks
like a sheer natural coral peachy shade,
with that faint cute orange tint.
Shimmerless, Frostless. xD

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May and Sleek Pout Polish in Powder Pink

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May and Sleek Pout Polish in Powder Pink

SMELL
The smell is identical to the other Sleek pout polishes that I own
I somehow find that the smell is inappropriate for a lipgloss/ lip balm / lip product.
It has this floral scent which is kind of similar to some washing liquid ..
but the smell fades eventually. :)

BOTTOM LINE: I paid more than you would normally pay if you bought it from the sleek site. But you know what. It's super uber worth it!!! The only bummer is that this baby is limited edition. I hope they relaunch them or something eventually because trust me this is the SHIZZLE!! haha xD

Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May and Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao

Today I'm reviewing the
Limited Edition Shade from the Sleek Avoir La Peche Collection:
Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao
So here's the review!!

Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao

Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao

SHADE

This is a better version of NYX'S powder blush in cinnamon
(which is one of my ultimate favourite blushes)
It looks brighter and darker in the pan.
But it actually applies with this gorgeous peachy glow with a hint of coral and orange tint.
I love it!!

Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao

BUILDABILITY
It's super easy to blend,
you can easily sheer it out,
you can easily build it up.

THE PACKAGING
I adoreeeeeeee the packaging.
This is by far the sleekest most gorgeous packaging for a blush ever.
I do find it kind of hard to open though lol.
But I love the design, looks expensive and gorgeous.
And the design on the actual packaging is sooo cute :D

Sleek Powder Blush in Pan Tao
LASTING POWER
Using my Model in a bottle / ELF studio mist and set
this lasts ALL day with no retouching
It is not smudgeproof and it fades to a natural glow
so - not blotchy or anything

BOTTOM LINE: I paid more than you would normally pay if you bought it from the sleek site. But you know what. It's super uber worth it!!! The only bummer is that this baby is limited edition. I hope they relaunch them or something eventually because trust me this is the SHIZZLE!! haha xD

ELF regular line custom face in glow [[ Review with swatches!! ]]

Hello guys!!

My review for today is the ELF face custom in glow which I believe is the pan version of
ELF's regular line / essentials natural radiance blusher in glow.

So about the product

PACKAGING
It comes in a plastic holder within a cardboard box, pretty cute actually.
the actual blusher comes in a metal pan,
and size wise, this is exactly the same size as the custom eyes eyeshadows
[on which I have a review HERE]
Attached to the bottom pan is a magnet
and a sticker is attached to it with the name, but it's uber small so you're gonna have to basically remember the names by heart.

TEXTURE
This is not as smooth as the NYX powder blushes,
and not powdery like the ELF studio line blushes,
but I very much prefer this over my ELF studio blush in candid coral.

LASTING POWER
The lasting power is not THAT great, they last a maximum of 6 hours,
which is not that good,
I hate to reapply so that's not a plus for me.

SHADE
It's a gorgeous gorgeous pinky peachy coral with subtle gold shimmer
This is seriously gorgeous as a shade :)

BOTTOM LINE
Honestly, I don't reach for this THAT often, because I have soo many blushes,
but I really should, this is an amazing shade especially for summer.รน

Thank you so much for reading guys :))
