Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee | review w/ swatches !

I'm sure you've heard of the Revlon lip butters by now. If no - it's been raved about by many youtube gurus and bloggers. A lot of bloggers have claimed that this is the new thing, a revolutionary product and what not. Do I agree?

First of all. No I don't agree with it being this revolutionary product, and the whole "it's like nothing I've ever tried" I don't get. I don't want to sound like I'm bashing the product, though because it's still a great product. To me, this is a sheer glossy lipstick, it has something of a glaze finish. It is not sticky, and feels rather nice on the lips. I don't find it moisturising or hydrating, but it's not drying either. The product has a tendency to melt if left in direct sunlight, so be careful with that and the packaging is quite nice, and colour coded depending on the lipstick which makes the shades easier to find. The shade is a sheer medium orange with no sh…

ELF Studio Baked Blush in PEACHY CHEEKY | Review w/ Swatches !

I have been meaning to review this blush for quite a while.  I think these ELF baked blushes have had quite the hype.  Did it wow me though?

ABOUT THE PRODUCT The packaging is very nice and I like that it's see through.  The blush itself is quite creamy and not at all powdery or chalky.  It lasts fairly a long time on me - a good 4-6 hours with minimal fading (I have dry skin though.) The shade is a sheer slightly frosty peachy golden shade.

BOTTOM LINE It's a nice blush. But it does lean on the frosty side,  which is not something that appeals to me.  It's still quite a pretty color though,  and I'm glad I got to try it.

 That's it for this post!
and till the next.. take care!

MUA intense eyeliner in royal blue | review w/ swatches !

As you probably know, I got so many MUA products recently with their promotional codes.. and these liners have been in my collection for over 3 months now - and I have had the opportunity to test them out throughout these three months.

Here's what I think - ABOUT THE PRODUCT Sleek, nice packaging. Sharpener is built-in in the cap, which could be a disadvantage because it may lead to the eyeliner drying up.  The actual eyeliner is creamy and quite pigmented. It needs setting, so it is not longlasting on its own, but they're great to be used as bases, which is what I bought them for.   It does draw on the waterline, but doesn't last due to the creaminess.  The shade is a deep bright blue. I love this colour and its pigmentation!

BOTTOM LINE A great eyeliner to use as a base or to powder, it's quite creamy,  and they have some really nice colours to choose from. If you're looking for bases / looking for a cheap eyeliner which you won't mind powderi…

LIPSTICK DIARIES #39 | VIVO Naturally Nude + SLEEK Peaches and Cream | Green Cut Crease & BLING BLING !

I have bad news. A blog is stealing my full posts and reposting them.
I shared the link on my facebook page and twitter.
Action has already been taken and hopefully they'll close the blog down.

As you can tell, I'm enjoying the cut crease look at the moment- and this time round I wanted to do a green-toned one with glitter.
I paired it with VIVO's lipstick in naturally nude  and SLEEK's true colour lipstick in Peaches & Cream because I found the first one too light for the look.

NYX matte lipstick in MLS05 Indie Flick | review w/ swatches!

HELLO GUYS! I had originally fell in love with NYX's matte lipstick, and I still am,  but then I decided to buy a couple more shades.
I actually featured these in a video which you can check out below.

Today I will be focusing on Indie Flick

PACKAGING Sleek black packaging, with a see-through part.  Risky packaging, if I might say,  because packaging similar to this is quite hard to master.  It often looks cheap and unappealing.  But this one doesn't.

TEXTURE A silky-smoothe texture, that glides onto your lips like a dream.

PIGMENTATION VERY pigmented.  It might even stain your lips after some time.

SCENT No detectable scent.

FINISH Matte.  totally matte.  But not drying or anything.

LASTING POWER  Needs reapplying after several hours (around 5) but lasts a very long time.
SHADE A bright orange shade

BOTTOM LINE Even though I love the shade and formula, I don't find myself reaching for this,  perhaps I will do in summer since it's more of a shade that reminds me of that s…

ELF mineral eyeshadow in natural | review w/ swatches !

I'm on a roll preparing ELF reviews today,  and this is one of them.  I've been in love with ELF mineral eyeshadows for a while,  and I decided to get one more shade.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT As with all loose powders, they could give quite a lot of fallout,  but if you tap off the excess,  that ought to solve the fallout issue.  This is a very pigmented and frosty eyeshadow,  but it's beautiful,  it has almost a metallic hue,  it has a peachy yellow-tint and it's a great all over the lid shade.

BOTTOM LINE I love this eyeshadow, my favourite mineral eyeshadow in angelic though,  it's the most beautiful highlighter for that doll like highlight.

That's it for this post!
and till the next.. take care!

REVIEW | TRES EMME Restructuring Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment Masque !

I don't know about you, but I'm so drawn to the beauty sector at supermarkets.
They lure me, they scream my name and hypnotise me to buy stuff.
I love buying hair products, and I use them quiet often actually.
This one I use almost everytime I wash my hair.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT This has a very thick consistency, almost jelly-like, and a really nice smell.
I love that its a tub, so you can easily scoop out product and use all of it without having to rinse it or anything.
Has this really helped my hair though?
I've been using this over 8 months now,
so I should know.
It has, I promise you , it has. In fact - this product might have been the product that saved my hair back when I dyed my hair back to brown. My hair lost its gloss, it looked dry and very dull, and this truly helped with giving my hair life again. I apply this after I shampoo my hair, squeeze out the excess water and apply it generously. I leave it for about 4-5 minutes and rinse off. And my h…

HEY DOLLS! I remember I had started these posts around a year ago, probably more.  I used to post a round up of my posts of that week,  in case you missed some or didn't feel like checking them out back then.  I post daily, as you might know,  and I'm even posting videos these days too.  So I'll update you on any post you might want to check out.

UPDATES: I still have some problems with my domain.  I have been focusing a lot on experimenting with colour and makeup. I haven't given up to temptations except for a few bits and bobs and when I went to the WJCON bloggers event.  But I have a feeling I'm going to splurge,  and I'm going to splurge big time.

MONDAY Get Ready With Me / TUTORIAL | Makeup Look Using MUA's Artiste Palette ! I didn't really post a post on Monday - because I posted my weekly round up post and I posted a video. And facebook has this spam related blocking thing if you share too much so I decided not to post another post because …

LIPSTICK DIARIES #38 | MUA's LMK ! + the darkest lip I've ever worn out !

HELLO GUYS! I have another Lipstick Diaries post today.  This time round I'm wearing the darkest lip colour I've ever worn in public! And when I'm telling you dark, this is seriously dark! It's not black..  but it's not that far from black.
I used MUA's lip boom in LMK  (As you know I love the lipsticks that come with the lip booms!). This lipstick I never really intended to wear when I initially bought it.   I only wanted to add some dark colours to my kit. But I felt in this creative mood,  and decided to wear it out anyway.  I kept the eyes rather neutral,  but not dull ..  and used some warm eyeshadows round the eyes to counteract with the  cool tones of the lipstick.
